I would think so, but maybe you should call her to make sure. I would think you could have anything of a similar consistency to what's on this list, though.

those are all mushy foods and refried beans have pieces - not a good idea and exactly why it isnt on that plan. your week 2 is pretty advanced, so I would be glad you can eat those foods, many of use are still on liquids for another week or 2. Make sure you make the scrambled eggs with cheese and make them really mushy or they will probably get stuck when you try to swallow them or make really soft egg salad with no pieces at all - pulverize it with ff mayo. You can do the same with tuna but put the tuna in a food processor and then add the ff mayo.
campbells makes an amazing creamy tomato soup that I lived on = it is wonderful amd with the creamy part, it doesnt cause as much heartburn as regular tomato soup would. I would limit the mashed potatoes, farina and oatmeal a bit - they have tons of carbs. You can eat them occasionally but make sure to add protein powder to them.
and remember it is only a week or 2, then you get to add more foods and you will forget this short period of time while things are healing. You can also drink protein shakes to get more protein in and to help promote healing

i was reading about beans and cheese on here.. called my nut.. she said.. no stick with the list I gave you.. until our appointment 5/10 (surgery on 4/9).. she said.. beans may cause a gasy effect that your new routeing.. may not like.. you don't have shrimp, fish, chicken or turkey on your list? I have been enjoying shrimp.. got a big old bag from sams club and having 5 at a time.. its lasting.. shrimp is easy on the new belly.
I am confused. It MAY cause gas? Just about anything I ate at the beginning with carbs caused gas. I agree, thin it out with some chicken broth to get the same consistancy as oatmeal, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese etc.
