No more 6 month wait for BCBS!!!!!

That may be true for YOUR insurance policy, but it is NOT true across all of BC/BS.  Just want people to know that it is NOT a universal change.

HSHC, which has BCBS of Texas, Illinois, and a few other states, changed their policy as of 2/1/2012. I HAD my initial surgeon's appointment on 1/31/2012 until I found out they were changing it and if I had that first appointment, I would fall under the old requirements!!! So I changed my appointment to 2/1 and I was approved right away!! The longest thing I had to wait for was the surgeon's schedule because she had vacation and lots and lots of bookings. I ended up being approved straight away, but not getting surgery until April because of how packed her schedule was!!!
