First and foremost, thank you to everyone *****ad and took the time to respond!!! It is most appreciated!

I made it a point to describe last evening's episode with my NP today.

While she certainly would not rule out the distinct possibility that it was mild dumping, she's not embracing it without reservation, either...in all honestly, she is unable to confidently identify what it could or could not have been since it has only happened this once...the factors that make her skeptical of such a conclusion are:

- my consumption of Quest bars over the past 1 1/2 weeks

- the amount of time that passed between my consumption of the bar and the onset of the episode...

She is more likely to attribute it to eating the cheese sticks and the bar too soon one after the other...(I had eaten the cheese and approximately an hour later on the drive home, I had the Quest bar)...if I left that out of the original account, my apologies...

...should it occur again, I'll need to make note of what I was eating, when and what had been consumed immediately prior and how soon afterward I took in the most recent food...

Check the serving size on your cheese sticks.  The ones we have in the fridge are 2 servings in each cheese stick.

Could it be lactose? The protein in the quest bars is milk protein and the cheese is dairy...maybe it was too much dairy?

As far as I'm concerned, one is every bit as likely as the other...I will check the serving size, that's a good idea...hadn't thought of that...
