9 days out and no word from INS. Losing my mind!

I have BCBS Fed and the office and others had said it would be quick. The office said we would hear back in 5 days max. It has been 9 I called and they said it still wasn't approved and they would call me not to worry.
Don't worry I thought this would all be done my mom came up from FL for 2 1/2 weeks to help me out after surgery and she only has about another week here. Looks like she is coming for a final visit with me before surgery and my life is forever changed. I am starting to think that they are going to deny me and ask me to jump in 100 more hoops before they approve.

 Ugh, How frustrating!  My insurance submitted mine 4 weeks earlier then my date because my insurance is tends to take that long to get approval.  Then luckily I was approved only 6 days later.  Keep your chin up there is light at the end of the tunnel!  I'm going to keep my fingers crossed you hear back soon and it's a "YES" 

 That's ridiculous! I hope it gets approved ASAP!

Hang in there...it's gonna happen!!!  I'm BCBS fed and mine took 3 days.  The office KNOWS what's required so breath and relax

I have a different insurance but everyone had told me how they got their approval within 24 hours to 3 days once submitted... mine took a WEEK!!!  Come to find out my insurance company was a little backlogged so it just took a little longer to get trough the paperwork.  But it did come.. so just be a little more patient (I know it's easier said than done).  Approval is coming!!!

Thank God my mom is here she is keeping me busy but seriously I wish they never told me to expect it back quickly! My surgeon is going out of town the last 3 weeks of June and I am scared to let his partners work on me if I have a problem so it looks like I am waiting until July if this doesn't get approved soon. His partners are fine BTW I just want 1 surgeon working on me if at all possible. I know in a emergency I am seeing whoever but you know what I mean right? Or am I really losing my mind and making no sense. LOL

my insurance company didn't contact me for awhile, but my surgeon's office received notice way earlier then i did. Can you give them a buzz?
