It is is an advanced form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization which enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. It is quite painful, but I'm willing to find out if it works......I had my first session yesterday....my back is black and blue......but I do believe it feels better......I have to go twice a week for at least 10 weeks........for me, he is breaking up all the scar tissue and adhesions. The sessions last from 2-5 minutes, because of the pain. It causes inflammation, which is good in this case. Inflammation helps to heal quickly, and because my muscles healed years ago in a tangled fashion....he is stripping the adhesions and scar tissue to help the tissue lay more flat......it's pretty interesting.
it looks like a car buffer, takes 2 hands to use it....not that heavy..but a great massage non the less....worth the 150.00 compared to a massage..
no one can tell you what is wrong with your back? mine is due to large herniated disc L5,S-1 but the nerve block injections helped majorly...i had 2 of them...
if you were closer to me you could come over for a genie rub massage..
