What are YOUR dumping symptoms?
I'm a year out and for several months, I thought I wasn't a dumper AT ALL.....but now it seems I am. Eating a cookie is ok once in a while...but if I eat two...I feel it and it isn't pretty. From what I've seen on here, my symptoms might be quite mild. Not sure. I am just wondering how mine may compare to some other folks. What are YOUR specific symptoms of dumping??
Mine are: Hot/Sweaty, Nauseous, Need to lay down for at least 30min.

Rapid heart rate, sweating, dizzy, stomach pain, nausea, sometimes vomiting.

Oh, I have to sit down. Usually on the bathroom floor in front of the toilet.

Starts with heart racing and dizziness... If I'm lucky it ends there. But if not it progresses to adding nausea , dry heaves, sweating, constipated feeling and then diarrhea.
I've only had the full shebang one time on a tbsp of natural peanut butter. But I've dumped on something as mild as a cutie orange and NSA protein bar. My body is finicky lol.

I can eat a fairly large amount of sugar before it affects me, but the initial symptoms for me are flushing, queasiness, shakiness, and dizziness. If it is a mild episode, it stops there. If it is a moderate or severe episode, add a racing heart rate, sweating, severe nausea, intestinal cramping, the need to be horizontal, and generally feeling like complete crap for about an hour. I have only had one severe episode (my first one) and that also included diarrhea.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I'm 9 months out and I don't think I have dumping syndrome, or I haven't pushed my limits. I don't generally consume large amounts of sugar, but there have been a couple of times where I think I should have felt something but did not. This I guess could be a good and bad thing! I don't want to fall into old habits, but I'm glad I can eat a small portion and not have the side effects.
I dump VERY easily on small amounts of sugars (even natural) and carbs. I have what I call "soft" dumps which are justabout a half hour of a crampy tummy, generally icky feeling, rapid heart beat, hot flashes and sweating. Then I have "hard" dumps that literally put me out of action for HOURS and take at least a day to recover from. With a hard dump, I get a warm, uncomfortable tight feeling,so much so that I tend to strip no matter where I am or who is around. I also get very disoriented, then writhe in pain wishing I could vomit and hoping I won't crap my pants because I can barely move to get to a bathroom and am often so disoriented I wouldn't know where the bathroom is if I needed it.
One day, I had a particularly bad and unexpected dumping episode that I decicided to blog in detail. When I was blogging it, I felt so much despair. Unfortunately, it doesn't read as terrible as it felt while I was enduring it. But it gives a basic idea...
