I'm so sick & tired of my hormones being out of whack! Here lately I'm crying all the freaken time. Someone can look at me funny & there I go, crying. For real this is driving me up the wall & driving my DH crazy too. I'm so ready for the hormones to settle down. I'm usually more, I don't give a crap what anyone thinks or says, so needless to say It's driving me bonkers. How have you dealt with the wacky hormones?

How long has that been going on?  Since your surgery?  It might be time to talk to your doc about the possibility of meds.

It's just been going on the past week or so, but I've also had alot going on too. So it could just be stress with everything. Last Thursday I had exploratory surgery where they found 3 internal hernias & cleaned out some adhesion's, then the day after I got home from surgery I tripped & fell on the same side of my surgery pulling my chest & back muscles on that side & hurt my toe pretty good. On top of that I started my period the day I was admitted in the hospital on Wednesday. Tried going back to work Tuesday night & could only pull off a half shift before needing to go home to take pain meds. Took a vacation day for last night & tonight, because I know with the muscle pains I will not make it through the night without pain meds. I'm just a mess right now. I think I'm stressed & the hormones I'm sure have something to do with it too. Also Stressing because since the surgery I haven't been able to eat much, maybe an ounce whereas I was eating 2.5-3 oz per meal. Just really down in the dumps so to speak. I am currently on Celexa 40mg a day.

Then I would try to just ride it out.  Accept that you're going to feel overly emotional for a little while and try not to kill anyone.  If it goes on for very long, though, I'd talk to your doc.

It's a battle everyday to not kill anyone, whether I'm emotional or not. Lol Yeah, I just have to ride it out, but it sucks in the meantime.

Here are a few pic's of my injuries. I also have bruising on my chest area where the muscles are either pulled or torn. All I know is I'm in alot of pain & can't get comfortable to save my life & sleeping is a joke.
My toe that was injured in the fall, somehow.

My arm where I rammed into the kids bathroom doorway, which stopped my fall.

Girl.... what you need is a hug! (((hugs)))) Things will get better sooner or later, but in the meantime, keep coming back here for support!

What she said!  I would give yourself 2 days, wallow in a big old pity party (cause it looks like you deserve one!) and then see how you feel.

I know when I have weeks like these (not very often, but sometimes just EVERY SINGLE THING goes wrong), I tuck myself into bed for 24 hours......with strict orders to my family to not even look at me!!

LOL - just kidding (kind of).

Hope you feel better soon!
