The Downfalls of Weight loss

I am just in a great mood, having great days... so having a little fun.

The downfalls of major weight loss:

- how do you carry a child or laundry basket without having a hip shelf?

 - my "girl pocket"  (bra) just doesn't carry cell phones and keys the way it used to

 - fitting into those little flimsy plastic patio chairs is way over rated - it just means that you can't stand and make everyone around uncomfortable and you get to leave; you can sit = you can stay and visit.   (I'm not very social, can you tell? :)  )

- never saw the point in having a table when I could set my plate or project on my belly

- can't drive with my thighs anymore

- since I can go further without being out of breath, I get nominated to go "fetch" stuff from the house etc for people

Darn this weight loss anyway    :)

It also makes it much more difficult to dig holes in the garden when you cannot simply stand on the shovel and rely on your weight alone to force it into the dirt, and eliminates the built-in plate shelf on your chest, LOL.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

oh yeah! Forgot the digging.... just a little hop up and the ground (and sometimes shovel) was broken.  My nephews loved it when they were little and digging their "pond"

I have actually found a valid use for batwings though -  working on my swim stroke and was reading an article that challenges you to swim with your fist instead of open palm, so you get used to using the bottom of your arms ---  my bat wings make me like a man o'war, slipping through the water haha

exactly!  Pre-op I could toss bales of hay like a farm hand, not so much now.  I am getting some strength back at the gym, but that extra "oomph" is missing  :)
