approval today...Surgery June 26th!

Yesterday was the worst day ever. I got a call from the RN at my surgeons office with the worst news ever...my surgery was denied. To top it off she called me at work to tell me. I was instantly in tears, had to leave for the rest of the day and spent the evening at home feeling horrible, I even smoked a cigarette ( I quit 7 months ago)....I have been working so long and hard and I knew I met all the criteria for surgery. Needless to say I was an emotional wreck yesterday...

Today I got a call on my lunch break from my health coach through the insurance company. She told me that she had heard what happened and she didn't understand what was going on, so she would take my file to her supervisor and call me later....

4pm rolls around and I get a call from my insurance...There was an oversight and my surgery is APPROVED!!! YAY!! I start my liquid "milk" diet on Tuesday and surgery is June 26th. It's been a crazy ride and I am sure I need to hold on cause it's about to get even more wild, but I am so stinkin excited right now!!

wow!  How horrible of a day to have one day and then have the best day the next!  I am glad you got approved!

so glad for you I got mine on Wed. it will be June the 20th. so we both are in the
same month. I will start my 2 week diet on the 6th have to go get pre-op done and my pre-op class.
