Exercise and the Dreaded excuses we use!
Mine worked this morning!
If I run with the Hamstring still hurting I might jack it up more!
ummm actually probably a bad example as not running was probably the right thing from what I have learned in the past.

Surgery date was 01/17/2012, started exercising 03/19/2012. I go Monday - Friday at 4am. I work a "retail scheduled" that is always changing so I picked a time that I wouldn't ever be at work. I set the alarm and get up and go. It is now a way of my new life. I would no more make excuses to NOT go to the gym than I would NOT to get dressed before I leave the house. I am down 87 pds and the way I feel is worth more to me than any reason I could make up NOT to go. Also, since the only one who get hurts or is affected if I would make the choice to go or not is me and to be honest if you can't keep your word (commitment) to yourself, who can you keep it to?
It is not always easy, honestly it is a struggle, but it works for me.

Let's see this morning it was.....
All of my running pants are currently in the washer, I'll run after their dry...Still haven't ran, but I DID just hear the drier buzzer go off so I guess that excuse is not gonna work for much longer.
As for the It's raining outside thing. That excuse WORKS for me all the d@mn time, at least in the winter. I don't do rain. although I don't mind a little drizzle usually.
I'll even run in the cold as long as it isn't raining. um, yeah, RAIN would be my #1, almost always works excuse (but only Nov - March when it's also likely to be cold). Hmmm. Those also happen to be the months I usually suffer from SAD really bad.
I'm pretty good May - October though. and since I love running in the evenings I can't really use the "it's to hot" excuse. Although that's my excuse for not doing a lot of races. they do races in the morning, I hate running in the morning..
WELL CRAP! My excuses have excuses!!
