It happened to me!

Yes the inevitable happened to me and it happened twice in the span of 7 days.  I had to get on an airplane and find out that not only did the seat belt actually fit but the little tray thingy didn't jab me in the stomach.  From this experience I came away with the knowledge I still hate flying, I guess it wasn't the embarassment that I didn't fit in the seat, but rather was the fact I was locked in a large metal container thousands of feet in the air!

I had that wonderful feeling as well.  I most liked that I didn't have to grab the side of the seat, so I didn't overflow into the middle seat.  Now there are several inches on either side of me!

...But, my tailbone hurts in planes now... Oh well.

I am just going to have to trust I could fit.... I think I would be carted off by several armed marshalls for having a panic attack when I realized "the fact I was locked in a large metal container thousands of feet in the air!"

I can hardly wait.
I haven't flown since the surgery, and I am so looking forward to fully lowering that try and not having it resting on top of my tummy.

And yet... I really hate flying. Ellen Degeneres said something about not understanding why they need to fly so dang high, when really they just need to clear the tops of  buildings and trees. She thinks the pilots are just showing off
I'm still wating for someone to answer that question too.
She may be right.

yep leaving Saturday for the deep south. I'll fit fine on the plane, this size 12 butt don't take up that much space anymore. However, I dislike traveling in airplanes. No leg room, no room to wiggle around, uncomfortable seats, and long, boring, expensive flights....oh well, unless I want to take a three day train trip, flying is it to get to where I'm going!

Im preop so don't know what it feels like to lower the tray... the seat belt fits me fine (all the way at the end) the tray rests on me so I don't lower it... but wanted to say....

I LOVE FLYING!!! Adore it... Can't wait to do it again... LOVE IT.

My feet don't touch the floor of the plane. They just swing back and forth. By the time I get off the plane my legs and feet are asleep. Hate being 4'9".
