With all of the issues I have had since my surgery 6 months ago, eating was and can still be a problem. But I have discovered some tried and true foods that don't gross me out or get stuck. Yay! Maybe this list will be of use to others who are less than a year out.  These include:
1.  Watermelon
2.  Refrigerator Breakfast Oatmeal with Chia Seeds and Blueberries, Greek yogurt and a little fake brown sugar
3.  Fish
4.  Cucumbers
5.  Tomatoes
6.  Tiny apple bananas
7.  Milk
8.  Lettuce and salad ingredients including spinach, kale and bell peppers

With these foods in my arsenal, I can eat a balanced diet and even enjoy it!

Yay for your weight loss! I also like cottage cheese and mangos, and I would love to eat cherries but I am allergic--wah! I don't like legumes in general, so I've been unable to get my protein from beans. I also like homemade soups as they are easy to ingest, as well as crab and fake crab, which make for a wonderful salad! Sugar free fudgsicles and popsicles make for good desserts, too.
I figure the more variety we have, the more success we will enjoy.
Good for you!
