I keep having wow moments. Simple things that u forgot were a problem. Like.... Taking an outdoor shower at my stepmoms beach house, praying the towels big enough and being able to wrap the towel fully around my self and not panicking that the neighbors would see half my naked body hanging out !!! Or. Riding the waves like I did in my twenties and I love this one being able to NOT panic as the car gets loaded onto the ferry because they park them so close that I can't squeeze out of the car!

What's your wows!!!!!

Post on your Facebook if anyone is clearing out their closets! I received so much clothing it was amazing! Also the goodwill or thrift shops but get clothes that fit because you deserve it! Now I'm a ten and the donations aren't as easy to get lol but I'm so happy and love shopping again! Good luck!

My first wow moment was yesterday.  My boss has mentioned that I look nice and so on.  But yesterday, he said I looked so pretty.  At 61 years of age and working with this guy for over 25 years, that was a real shock to my system.

My wow moment was when I realized during my jog a few days ago it had been 20 minutes and I only stopped to walk because I was at a really steep hill. Given flatlands, I could have just kept on going. Amazing after only 9 weeks of couch to 5K!

(My wow right now is realizing I'm craving a run as I post this. I wouldn't have believed that was possible a year ago!)

My big wow moment came when I could cross my legs sitting in a coach seat on the airplane!

My WOW! moment happenned this morning. I was not feeling all that wonderful for the past week, getting down on myself for not exercising like I know I should and not being able to tolerate the protein drinks.
So today when I woke up, I was still laying in the bed and I said (out loud) "Today is the day you get your ass moving and get that protein in!" I got up, had some protein, took my vitamins and while cleaning the house with my iPod on, I danced my buns off! The big WOW moment came when I looked in my closet and thought,"I am going to try everything on, what ever does not fit anymore will go to the Goodwill." I have 3 bags of clothes to give away!!! I have been wearing sweats with the drawstring waist and I used to wear an 18/16 and I had some olde clothes that were 12/14 and everything is just too big and frumpy!!! woo hoo This of course made me dance some more!

I love reading all of your Wow moments!  Today one of the other trainers (not mine) at the gym saw me and said I looked amazing.  She also said one of her clients had noticed as well and had said something to her!  That was really a shocker, to hear someone say that.

I have a wow moment every single time I sit down and automatically and comfortably cross my legs. Or when I see a cute dress and realize that I COULD buy it, because I could actually wear it. I'm so used to just admiring clothes on the rack, that it's a novel thing to know I could actually wear it now. I still forget sometimes and find myself coveting something before realizing, "Hey! I could buy it if I wanted to."

When I started my job, I had to get a tshirt. My boss asked what size. Before, I would have quietly and ashamedly murmer "2XL...if you have it..." But when asked this time, I said "Large, please." And now it's getting too big. I'm almost in a medium. A medium!! I can't remember the last time I wore a medium. Wow.

I just bought my 2 year old daughter her own little mini toddler armchair. She took my hand and wanted me to sit in it. I looked at this ridiculously tiny little baby chair and told her, "No, honey, mommy's too big." So she whimpered and whined. Sighing, I hovered my butt over the seat for her....and then lost my footing and plopped right in. I totally fit into this little chair. And it's comfortable. Whoa. I can play with my kids on their furniture and toys and not fear I'll break them into smithereens.

I can get dressed in the gym locker room and not freak out if I hear someone walking through. It amazes me how high my confidence has gotten that I can be naked in a public locker room and not be ashamed. I never thought that would happen.
