I am a late evening worker. I work late evenings. I do not work at 0'dark thirty... so why do I insist on doing overtime at 5am????  Gah

OT 0500-0700, unless I can make myself stay later, then I am heading home for what might shape up to be a free day! WOOT!  It is POURING rain so I don't feel guilty about not working outside on the one million projects waiting on me.  I do feel guilty about not running, since I have a state of the art gym about 100yds away from my desk.  What does that say about me? No guilt that my yard and house look like something off of "Hoarders", but feel bad about missing time on the dreadmill?
I'll hang out with my mom some, probably work OT late tonight. Other than that, I see a nap in the near future.

I'm having a protein bar right now.

In a bit, I plan to go to the farmer's market.  Hopefully I will get lots of yummy fruits and veggies to eat later!

Lunch will probably be hummus and veggies of some sort.

Maybe fruit for a snack.

Dinner, I don't know.  I've been in the mood for chipotle lately.

Snack, maybe homemade Greek yogurt.  I made some yummy peach yogurt yesterday.

Today is my 2 month surgiversary. I weighed this morning and I'm down 57 pounds. These are all good things but I'm feeling kinda down anyway. The joys of being a woman are causing me bad cramps, I want a sandwich with real bread, I want a big plate of pasta, and I want an ice cream sundae! So far today I've had:
B-Egg beaters w/homemade turkey chili and 2% cheese
S-12 small green olives

Hopefully my cravings will pass, my blue mood will pass and I can get back to my happy place on my journey. I guess it might help if I opened the blinds and let the daylight in.

Lori - guilt is such a wasted emotion! Damn the guilt, enjoy the day of freedom....

Seems like when I can sleep in, I can't. I hate that! So I got myself up and went to the gym and did pilates and a great vinyasa yoga session. Then ran some errands and bought groceries (OMG...was my refridgerator really that bare?).

B: chocolate protein shake
L: tuna salad in low carb wrap, grape tomatoes, fresh mozarella, and (guilty pleasure) 1 oz of Snyder's honey/mustard pieces
S: string cheese/turkey pepperoni
D: shrimp, squash, brown rice, spinach salad?
S: hmmmm...bought some fresh blueberries, so perhaps a greek yogurt blueberry parfait

So, it's humid and hot here. I'm not venturing out to do yard wor****il later this evening when it cools down. I realized that's the difference between New England and the south (yeah, there's a whole LOTTA differences undoubtedly, but in summer weather realm, we get the heat, we get the humidity, but it cools down at night as opposed to a 8am solid wall of heat that hits you when you walk outside in South Georgia).

My other plans today: relax, clean, a few housekeeping chores, laundry, camera to PC downloads, and practicing piano (I missed that so much while I was away).

Happy Day, everyone!

Today I think I might be able to win a "Sloth-Impersonation-Contest"

I know I have to start making plans for the new school year. I also know that once I get started I'll be in super-over-drive. IT's how I do things. But I'm having trouble being motivated to do anything.

My infected or inflamed glands aren't letting up in spite of the antibiotics (which makes sense if they'er inflamed for a reason other than infection. But that's sort of sapping my energy.

On the flip side, it's hard for me to turn OFF work, and so the fact that I found the off switch is to my credit. I need to get it off the brain from time to time.

So far today I've had:
1. quiche
2. protein shke
3. lean-cuisine spring rolls (2/3rds of a single serving)
4. protein shake (thisis where I am now)

Planned:

5. One or two more protein shakes
6. some limeaide (the juice of two or three limes squeezed into water with some splenda)
7. Fruite n Fage
8. Salad with cucumber artichoke peas and cheese

That's about it.
