I went to the Farmer's  market this morning.  Luckily it did not rain on me!  I got organic blueberries, organic tomatoes, squash, zucchini, and cheddar cheese made from organic raw milk.  I'm nibbling these blueberries now and they are delicious.  I love the Farmer's market!

I love the Farmer's Market, too. You can always find interesting things there, like zucchini flowers, which my husband loves.

It's low calorie, but probably fried, in bread or something like that probably isn't the best, even though it's super yummy.  LOL However, you can use it in crustless quiche, which is a favorite. Here's the nutritional info:

I love zucchini in quiche!  I usually add some sundried tomato and onion, too with smoked provolone.  Delicious!

i love the farmers market also..i went to a small one the other day and got some corn and cucumbers. OMG i take some cucs cut them up in a bowl add some onion rings..salt the cucs and onions and put them in the fridge overnight. The salt draws out the natural juices. the next day drain some of the waters and you can either eat the cucs like this or add some greek yogurt or light sour cream, maybe about 1/4 cup..... This is so good. Or just eat them raw. Gotta hit the Minneapolis Farmers Market cause i heard its awesome.

I wish I could eat fresh fruit and vegies. My program says not for 3 months and then summer and farmer's markets will be over. Sucks!
(Actually right now I just wish I could eat!)

You can't eat any fruits or veggies 'til then or just not raw?  Can you eat cooked veggies?  That would be a long time with no fruit or veggies at all.

OOPs! Sorry. I can't eat any fresh fruits or vegies. I can eat canned and frozen. I have barely though because I fill up on my 1-2 oz protein (when I can eat it). Although right now I am eating 1/2 an avacado and it is sitting ok. Hmmmmmm????

So you couldn't have fresh blueberries but if you froze them, then you could have them?  Or you can't cook fresh green beans and eat them but you could heat up canned ones and eat them?  That is confusing to me.  Surely the fresh ones are healthier.

I'm glad the avacado is sitting Ok.
