When I read the header, I thought it was a newbee asking, then saw it was you.  Unfortunately, I have never felt that way since I was a newbee and I really don't remember not wanting to eat then.  I do remember things not tasting good.  Try some sliders like cream of potato soup made with some of your raw cream and lots of cheese for extra protein.  You might even sneek in a scoop of Unjury chicken soup.  Eat those raspberries with some greek yogurt with a scoop of vanilla protein in it.  Make some protein ice cream stick in a crumbled up protein bar and pretend you are endulging in a Blizzard (thanks Tazz for that suggestion).  If noting else, 1 ounce every 15 min like when we were newbees.  You need something to stay healthy.

Everyone on here has such good advice I don't have anything to add other than more support. I'm sorry that nothing tastes good. I think its because you're under a lot of stress and you also had your back procedure this week, maybe that is affecting your appetite. Things will get better and just do what you can to be strong and stay healthy. You will get through this!   Hugs! Laura

A day or two of not meeting your goals won't hurt you but, you can't let this be the norm. You just have to eat your protein no matter what. Praying for you!

I wonder if there are different kinds of stress.  I know I have different stress reactions depending on the source.  When I have work problems, nothing tastes good and I struggle to find things that I can eat.  When I feel grief, I go on a steady diet of comfort food.

I'm sorry friend, I really am. I completely feel your pain. I'm on 1/4 rations right now. (As in, the things I normally eat fill me up when I'm one-fourth of the way done)

Do you have pain from your procedure? Could that be affecting your appetite? The nocturnal exercise?

Makke sure to get some calories in and work on it slowly. You've had a lot of thigns thrown at you lately, and sometimes it's just one thing too many to tip the scales.

Nope, no pain at all from the procedure.  I dunno about the nocturnal exercise.

It's funny.  When I was pre-op and got stressed, I'd eat TONS of food.  Now, when I am stressed
(like you are now) food is the last thing I want.

Try some Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea which isn't like most protein powders, or do the fresh fruit in your Vanilla Protein for a great shake.

Don't worry, it'll come back.

Hope things iron out for you soon.

Kelly, I am really sorry this is going on in your life and hope you can find yourself thru this. For the shakes, try drinking them with a straw. That's what I did when I was newly out and disgusted by all tastes.
