Thursday??!! Friday Eve - Whatcha doing / eating?
"Why Lori, it appears you are posting at 615am from work after you got off at midnight?"
Why yes, yes I am. Overtime is so alluring when you first commit to it, but its ugly reality is much more harsh at 5am.
Today I will work an hour or 2 of overtime, go swim / run and then help my mom. Looking for maybe an hour nap before spin class at 1215-1245, then work immediately after until 1am. Friend dropped off her dog at 530 this morning for me to keep her until Saturday afternoon so I have 4 dogs over 50lbs (2 over 100) and a 12lb bad dachshund to terrorize me until another friend drops off her 145lb Great Dane Saturday morning. Good times.

Today the prostaglandins are raging; must go find me some Midol (acetemetophin version) to calm the savage uterus. So yoga at lunch will be a boon for relaxing and stretching. Then I'm hoping to make it to a 6:30 zumba class at the gym. The instructor has the moves and I'm always in awe jus****ching her strut her Zumba stuff, while I clump around in the back of the studio, lost in my own uncoordinated world of partial rhythm and hopelessly lost beats.

Going to my 35 high school reunion this weekend (crikey I'm old!). None of my classmates have ever seen me thin (or rather at the size I am now, cause I'm pretty sure my size is not classically defined as "thin", guess trim would be a better word) Anyway before I get lost in semantics, it should be fun to experience this event at this new size. We are taking a harbor cruise in Casco Bay. It will be a delightful time and now the thought goes into wardrobe. What will I wear? Oh, the pressure, the pressure....
Anyway, today is work then some sort of physical activity (yesterday I did four laps = four miles around the lake!). I have a few cooking related things to do for the blog and then I have a video to make.
I am excited because I'm supposed to go visit our very own board member, Hillery, this weekend! Yay! Bring on the Friday!
Eats as I know them:
1. 1/2 WW Arnold Thin with 1 tbsp natural PB
2. Frappe (made with protein I am sampling but not ready to rave about juuuuuust yet...but soon)
3. I brought a cheese sandwich and a peach (I forgot I was out of lunch meat) but I am so not excited about it. If it is NOT 100 degrees I plan to walk over to Harbor East to Whole Foods so I may pick something up there.
4. I had an eggchilada yesterday. That sounds good for today too.
5. Greek yogurt! I stocked up.
Boy, people on bikes are fast. There was this SUPER HOT guy doing the bike. Like hard core too. And the lake is 1.1 miles around. That man passed me three or four times for every ONE time I walked it.
There was also this very inspiring guy there. It appeared that he'd normally be in a wheelchair? His bike was outfitted with pedals that you do with your hands and MAN he was even really fast.
I love the culture at this lake. Folks go there to be active. Along the loop there is gym style equiipment made of playground material (so bikes, ellipticals, stair climbers, even weights) and there seems to be zones. One zone is for folks who just walk, another zone of the loop is clearly where motorcyclers gather and chill out, another is where folks picnic and blast old school Motown and then when you're almost back to the beginning of the loop is what I call "Muscle Beach."
I love that place. I go around 7-ish and wal****il the sun goes down.

So, half day at work, then gone until Tuesday.... so far, had to go back to my old friend "power crunch"... play it by ear the rest of the weekend!
See you next week,
