This whole thread is cracking me up!!!  For the first time in my life, I am thankful for my severe (well, maybe not quite "severe"... let's say "significant") cat allergy!  Going to give my Scottie dog a kiss on the snout for never bringing me half-eaten critters.

It means they love you, you know.

They get so excited and proud of themselves when they catch something.

Ahhhh yes...I remember now!  That's what my Moo kitty does.  Generally leaves them in the driveway though (thankfully).  We use to have mice in the winter, but ever since I got the cat...no problems.  He does tend to stare under the stove at night, like he's stalking it so I'm guessing that's where they come in the house.

LadyTazz you crack me up! One of my cats is agressive about getting my food, too. Thank God he's not PC literate though, lol. He weighs about 20 lbs and when he wants me to get up out of bed he stands on me. Hurts actually. I asked my husband if Lucky ever wakes him up that way. Nope, he only does that for me!

My cat Larry wakes me up when he is hungry by kneading his paws on my belly, which puts pressure on my bladder, until I must get up before I pee in my bed.

Indigo wakes me up by howling at the door if she wants to go out.  If she gets tired of waiting for me, she jumps up on the bed by my head and howls louder.  She can be incredibly loud.

Cayenne paws on me and then head-butts me.  She can head-butt really hard, especially on certain sensitive parts of the body.

A cat named Larry... not sure why, but I find that very funny.  Right up there with a pet *****hilla named Bob...

Maybe I am closer to that nervous breakdown than I thought...

We refer to him as "Hairy Larry."  He sheds.  A lot.

My cat's name is Larry, too.  And I didn't consult with Kelly first.  I don't allow the cats in my bed.  I have enough company with the 4 dogs and they would all fight if I did.  Fortunately the cats don't bark or I would never get any sleep.  They do, however, sleep right in front of my door so that when I open it they fall in my room and stay on my feet when I try to go to the bathroom.
