Chike iced protein coffee

I ordered a sample of Chike iced coffee and decided to try it this morning.  I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to find they'd send me two packets, even though I only ordered (and paid for) one, along with a little handwritten thank you card thanking me for my order.  I love companies with good customer service.

I normally like my protein drinks made with milk but I haven't been to the farm in a while and while there is still milk in my fridge, I think it's time to throw it out.  The layer of cream on the top is looking solid.  So I decided to try this with water.

And it's pretty good.  As Nik said in her review a little while back, it dissolved really well and made hardly any foam.  It smells pretty good.  It tastes like iced coffee.  I think it would be even better in milk, or maybe half milk and half water, but I'm drinking it like this and enjoying it.  I normally try to limit the caffeine but I might like this sometimes in the morning when I'm tired.  I might have to order some more.

I like it more than Click, too.

I am drinking click one right now. I havent tried Chike but I want too so bad!
I have the mocha one and just bought the vanilla. Im not a big mocha fan but its the only one vitamin world had in stock. I LOVE them. I add sugar free hazlnut creamer into it and its even better!!!!!
I do mine with Soy as I was a little lactose intolerant before surgery. I also blend mine with ice and make it into a frappacino and I LOVE it this way! I'm not sure I would like it hot though.

Which flavor Chike did you try? (not sure if they even have a variety).

It's just iced coffee flavor.  They only have one coffee flavor.  Chike also has chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana, and I think orange.

I wonder how many mg of caffiene there are in the iced coffee chike drinks? It says it's equivalent to 2 shots of expresso, which would be quite a bit. Hmmm... are you finding that it's giving you a caffiene buzz?

I messaged them to ask and will post it here if they reply

The Chike website says that "each packet is equivalent to a cup of the leading premium coffee."  Nah, I don't think I"m getting a buzz.

I like Chike!

I can't say I like it more than Click because I use it differently than Click. With Click I make Frappes. With Chike I don't think I'd be inclined. It's more of a shaken over ice drink to me. So I would continue to use both.

BUT I have a review coming up on Bariatric Foodie that may be giving Click a run for its money in the Frappe department. I feel so conflicted now. Who do I love more????

Hey, Kelly, is the Chike less bitter than the Click?  I should just get a sample, I guess, but I hated the Click so much )even though I like coffee) that I hesitate.

It's a little bitter.  But I thin****d coffee is usually a little bitter, isn't it?  I wonder if adding a little Splenda to it would make it less bitter?

Have you tried Syntrax Nectar cappuccino?  I don't think it's bitter at all.

Since they mailed me an extra sample of the Chike, I'll send it to you if you want.
