I hate AETNA!
About 2 weeks ago i went through emergency with what i believe are gallbladder issues. I was told that the acid content in my stomach is really high and put on prilosec for 7 days and to follow up with my gastro dr.
The gastro dr gave me a new prescription for 14 days with 3 refills. AETNA refuses to pay for it since I filled one prescription already. They wont pay for it until august 21 because i last filled it on july 21. What kinda crap is that?

You just need to contact them and point out that the original prescription was only for 7 days. Normally. Prescriptions are written for a 30 day supply and their systems are set to deny claims that are more frequent than that. You may, however, have a problem again if you want to refill the 14 day prescription.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Ok so I called AETNA and went back to cvs. As it turns out the medication was automatically refilled and was sitting in the bin. The pharmacist shouldve been able to see from the computer that it was automatically refilled but was too lazy to bother about looking for it so I had to drive there twice but at least I got my meds for the next month.
It doesnt really help. It may as well be an M&M but I take it anyway.
