Had RNY Sx on 8/2. Down 52 lbs. Last night began throwing up dark blood. Approx 8-10oz. Morning Stool entirely of DARK blood. No blood in urine. Has anyone else experience this as well? No vomitting today.. Yet.

 Call your surgeon immediately!

Dark just means it's "old" meaning from in the upper part of your GI tract.

Glad you seem to be on the mend.  Waiting longer would have likely meant surgery to stop the bleeding.  If you vomit or see blood in your stool, unable to swallow foods or liquids and vomit them almost immediately, or feel unbearable pain, always call your surgeon.  An inconvenient trip to the ER offers you a better chance to correct these issues than not going and asking forums for permissin.  Postops need to be proactive and you know your body better than any of us.  Good luck on your recovery. I am stunned you would post instead of heading off to the hospital!  Gee, do you really think this doesn't warrant a call to your surgeon?  OMG

Call your surgeon.  Now.

If (s)he is not available, go to the ER.
