My surgeon told me I only need one multi a day and then said add some iron. My nut said I need more but wasn't specific. What I am taking I have learned from Kelly . I follow her schedule.
Question to Kelly: the vitalady D3 dry 50 k says to only take once a week, is this correct?

Depends on your labs.  I take the 50K D3 three times a week to maintain a vitamin D level of around 100.

I'm like Stephanie... At 5 years out, I have it down pat during the week but occasionally get distracted/lazy/whatever on the weekends and only get the morning vitamins in. I occasionally forget the last calcium dose, but not very often since I have been saving the creamy bites for the evening dose!

Sigh, I can improve in this area.

I have a pill container with four slots: morning, lunch, evening, and night.  I notice at the end of the week, I will have one box out of seven that is completely empty.  The biggest area I need to improve on is the evening dose of calcium.  I never forget the morning or evening pills, and remember the lunch calcium/multi 85% of the time, but that evening calcium dose is a killer.  Not sure what I can do to remember to take it.

I take one children's chewable and one women's complete multi vitamin a day. I also take a dark chocolate calcium citrate chewble when I remember. I know I should be taking some B12, but I will see how my levels are when I do my 3 month checkup. I will likely just get some shots. I was taking the special bariatric vitamins, but they were making me throw up.

I'm only about six weeks out, but I'm taking my vitamins. The only problems I've had have been on the weekends when I'm off my regular routine. I have a pill sorter that has an AM and a PM slot for each day of the week. I fill that each week, and each day after I take my first dose I transfer my vitamins to a separate little pill holder that has only 1 AM and 1 PM spot, all but my nighttime dose. I take that little container with me in my lunch bag or purse. I'm taking 2 multis, 3 calcium, 1 iron, 1 vitamin D, and 1 B12 each day. I got the iron and the multi at the drugstore. Everything else I ordered from Bariatric Advantage. My first round of post-op labs came back good except for low iron. I'll start prescription iron as soon as the mail order pharmacy gets it to me.
