Broccoli!

I'm super jazzed that I had some broccoli with my shrimp tonight. It just felt good to eat some vegetable for a change. I chewed really well, so no problems there. Now that broccoli worked, I'll keep that in mind when I make an omelette for myself.

You might want to make sure that the broccoli digests ok before having it again. I came home from the hospital on soft foods, and was eating chicken week 2, but broccoli and pineapple were not permitted until 3 months out on my plan because they can be very hard to digest.

I'll keep that in mind. :)
I had some pineapple pieces with cottage cheese last week, and no issues on the other end.

I hear ya...I wasn't a big meat eater prior to surgery, so this has been a little hard. Thankfully, I love seafood, so I can at least change up my veggie burgers, ricotta cheese, etc. LOL

I love broccoli and can eat a nice big green salad. But if I eat cooked broccoli which I love I throw up right away. I hope I can have it later but for now no broccoli here.

With all the stress on protein, protein, protein, it feels good to get some veggies in too. I had Chinese takeout of Steamed Chicken with veggies (cooked without fat, salt, or starch)with a water based garlic sauce on the side. It felt good to get some variety in. I'm good with just about everything now as long as I chew the hell out of it.
