Yup I did! Shocking because I never thought I'd run 13 feet again in my life but I ran 13.1 miles on Sunday. I feel great and I'm so happy at what my surgery has given me. I finished at 2hours 22minutes with a pace of 11min/miles. Not bad for this 40 year old!

Congrats!!

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!

Great pace! Bet you are still buzzin' at your accomplishment. Crossing that finish line is pretty powerful stuff, ain't it?

Congrats for your tremendous accomplishment...

Good job!! I've done a few 5Ks and have a sprint tri in 2 weeks. My goals in 2013 are 10k and a 1/2 too, so you're really inspiring me!
