NSV from an "old timer"!
All summer long I looked at last year's winter pants.... thinking "damn those are small" and wondering what I was going to do for clothing.... well, THEY FIT, maybe even a bit better than before. Yes -- I'm wearing the same pants two years in a row!
I know many of you can relate! Have a great day!

That is awesome!
I kinda did the same thing this weekend when I got my winter clothes out of the basement. I was looking at this pair of Ann Taylor dress pants for work and looked at that size 4 tag and thought "I am going to need two pairs of these to stich together" but I put them on and the fit! wore them to work yesterday! And after all that I rememberd I was crazy and had obsessed over every bite of food I have put in my mouth for the past 5 years, and the staying the same size thing made sense :)~

Thank you! I watch what I eat about 90% of the time but exercise faithfully.
I complicated things for myself when I bought a new scale... that puts me consistently higher than my old one. I have wondered if it's just the scale, the exercise, or me....
Probably a bit of all but my pants still fit. I know. I have issues.

Ye gods, I hate a new scale. Getting rid of an old one is almost as bad as a breakup!
My scale at my gym reads 10lbs higher than my scale at home. My scale at the doctor where I go reads 10lbs less than MY scale. So I vary by 20 lbs.
I had thought if maybe I could break her scale I could then kindly offer to replace it with the one at the dr's office.

4th year in a row for me. It is definitely an awesome feeling!! But I will say I do not worry about it anymore. Maintenance does not scare me like it did the first couple years.

Absolutely.
When I get out my summer capri shorts I think... these look a little small.. I dunno..
Then they fit!
Then winter comes and I get out my ski gear and I think... wow, those ski pants are kinda little. I mean, look at that waist... uh oh. I don't wanna have to buy new ones! Geez, why did I eat all those carbs on vacation this summer.
And then they fit too!
Year after year I do this to myself.
