That is amazing!  This is something that I am developing a passion for as well.  My husband has always been a runner & I've been "practicing" in order to keep up with him when he gets home from Afghanistan.  Who would have thought I'd grow to love it. LOL  Do you have any resources/websites you can recommend?

Again, great job!

I'm a frequent lurker on Runners World - they have great articles & I usually read the reviews, then buy the stuff on eBay for cheaper! I just got my Pearl Izumi jacket for $20 on eBay in the mail yesterday & can't wait to try it out... but I've bought everything from sports bras to knee braces, based on recommendations from my local running store and Runners World, on eBay!

OMG I was there too! I finished at 45 min. and then hung out to cheer people on. I bet I saw you cross the finish line.

Congratulations! That was a fun course, but that slow grade on the way back was tough. What a perfectly beautiful autumn day too.

Awesome! I couldn't find you on the results though . Yeah, one of my teammates was saying after the turn around "oh, but we got that hill" and for a bit I had know what she was talking about. Until I saw it.... and really struggled with the urge to just slow to a walk. But pushed thru and WE DID IT!!!!!

Oh, you couldn't find me because Neen is my nickname. My real first name is Christina, but nobody outside of work ever calls me that. :-)

I am going to AIDS Walk Washington at the end of the month. It's just a 5k, but you run toward the Capitol at just the perfect time of the morning. It looks so beautiful. It's a fun, uplifting race if you're looking for another one to do.
