I need help with a craving.
I have followed my surgeon's and nuts plan since surgery. I'm about 6 1/2 months out and for the past few days, my sweet tooth has kicked in. I haven't given into it those cravings and I do not normally want sweets. I've lost 87 pounds since surgery. I need suggestions from my OH friends on what I can make, buy and eat that is the best choice to satisfy my sweet tooth. I know whatever it is, I won't be able to eat much of it anyways. Thanks everyone!
Sugar Free popsicles, jello and pudding.... I find that a SF popsicle helps get me through the evening with only 15 calories and no sugar it is guilt free. I also like frozen yogurt from those FRO YO places, the plain flavors don't have many calories and most of the chains I've been to display their nutritional content so you can make a conscious choice, but skip the topping bar... unless it's a few pieces of fruit.
I just had two Sugar Free popsicles. I love grapes when I have the munchies.

Here are a few ideas..I'll start by saying that these are not all loaded with protein..as I get my 75+ grams a day without having to have every single thing I put into my mouth be loaded with protein..if I'm having a sweet craving (and have room in my calories) these are the things I would reach for..
Yoplait strawberry "greek" yogurt (100 calories..its not truly greek yogurt..but I can't stand the other stuff)
Better Oats - Oat fit oatmeal - Brown sugar and cinnamon flavored (whole grain oats w/flax 100 calorie packet)
Skinny Cow Fudge Ice cream bar (100 calories)
Skinny Cow Heavenly Crisp peanut butter candy bar (110 calories)
I've also gotten some ideas from www.skinnytaste.com she has some awesome pumpkin muffins that I've made a few times..they end up being about 80 calories each and it takes away my 'itch' to bake. I only make those when I have somewhere to take the other 23 muffins..lol
I eat a sugar-free ice cream bar most days. My current favorite is Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Crunch Lites, which are 110 calories. I buy them at WalMart.

Follow the recipe on the back of the LIbby's pumpkin puree can. Substitue Stevie In the Raw for sugar and fat free evaporated milk for the regular. It is SO delicious and feels sinful but isn't. Oh and no crust and sugar free whip topping.
I have to admit i have been struggling since i started working at my new job 6 months ago...i have been eating a LOT more sweets and want desperately to stop that NOW. Sugar doesn't bother me which sucks. I do love SCHWANS fudge bars which are like 40 calories...sugar free popsycles (i need to do this again), choc./vanilla sf swirl pudding, Pumpkin/SF Vanilla treat...sf werthers..sugar free hard candys.
