My new addiction! Cookies!!
I wondered if I would end up replacing my food addiction with something else. Well, I think I have! I'm not really a sweet lover, but I have found that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE candles that are scented with yummy dessert fragrances. My favorites are COOKIE scented. I have sugar cookie, gingerbread cookie, oatmeal raisin cookie, pumpkin spice cookie, and my most recent find...Holiday cookie. I also have other dessert scents, but the cookies seem to make me happy. I don't want to eat cookies, it doesn't make me hungry...just seems to calm me. Crazy? If it works...

My weakness is salty, crunchy...if there was a Lay's plain potato chip candle, I'd be in trouble! We found a French Baguette candle that smelled just like buttered, fresh baked bread...omgoodness! It was so yummy smelling. THAT would do it for me, too. But, the cookies...nah! Reminds me of my mother's Christmas baking. I think that's part of why it's so soothing.
Call me crazy, but I'm not into candles that smell like food. I like "soap-y" smells (musks, etc.). And flowery scents. Like Japanese Cherry Blossom from Bath & Body Works. Sigh...
BUT I am glad it works for you. :)
