Good Morning Everybody! I haven't been online the past few months a lot.  Honestly, mentally I haven't been doing what "I should be doing" so I was avoiding all of you.  I didn't want to hear about weight loss or the newbies excited about their weight loss journey or how people were meeting their goals.  I just want to eat and eat what I wanted to eat.  So that I did, AND I gained 25 pounds. I had an epiphany over the weekend....I felt horrible, I felt horrible about myself.  My body was aching again, I was getting migraines.  I went to my acupuncturist Friday and she said to me (in a way that only a little chinese woman could), you know - your body is not well, your mind is not in a good place.  You do not feel well because you are not taking care of your body or your mind. WOW - she was right, I wasn't.  I started going back to the gym on Saturday.  I refuse to look back.  I refuse to gain the weight back.  I just refuse to go that direction any more.  Sorry to chew your ear off, but I had to say this out loud to somebody.  Hope you understand......Anyhoo, food for the day -

B - Coffee and about 45 minutes later a protein shake

L - Salad with turkey bites and a cheese stick

Dinner - Chicken w/veggies

Snacks - Water, coffee, water, coffee, more water

If needed - a protein bar

Good Morning!

 

Peanut- thanks for the post and your honesty.  You sound like you are back on track!  You definitely have a support system here.  Keep it up!  

Breakfast- protein coffee- Tiramisu coffee, SF caramel syrup and chocolate protein powder.  It was Yummy!

Snack- hard boiled egg- whites only

Lunch- My own version of baked ziti- Baked spaghetti squash, homemade sauce w/ ground chicken, baby bella mushrooms, onions, topped with part skim ricotta and reduced fat mozzarella and baked for 45 minutes.  Very yummy and really filling.

Snack-Diet hot cocoa

Dinner-  possibly left over baked ham or more of my baked spaghetti squash.

I am actually going to try a work out video at home.  We'll see how that goes.  Anytime I lie on the floor to do crunches my dog lies on top of me.....he is soo cute it is hard to get mad at him!

I am having a crisis of the HIGHEST magnitude!!!

...I can't decide if I want a protein shake or scrambled eggs for breakfast. That is all.

Otherwise, today I am working from home because...well because it was just too much to get up, get dressed and go to work. I'm a writer for Pete's sake. There really is no reason I should have to work in an office at all except that they suspect I'd be here all day instead of working (which I would be at the office too but that's beside the point!). Ok, rant over.

Eats as I know them:

1. Either a protein shake or scrambled eggs w/ cheese

2. Whichever I did't have as #1

3. Some tuna on a lightly salted rice cake with a thick slice of tomato and a slice of cheddar cheese

4. I think I'm going to make Chicken enchiladas for dinner. Maybe some cauliflower rice and beans to go with.

5. I HAVE to make banana bread today (with Atkins Mix and protein powder) because I refuse to waste these few bananas I have. So some of that.

Hey all. I've been avoiding this post in general b/c I didn't want to post that I was eating things I shouldn't. So, here I am, resolving to do better today and making it a goal to stay away from the Christmas cookies!

 

Breakfast: Protein shake

Lunch: Leftover chicken breast, maybe with apple & greek yogurt (otherwise will have that as snack)

Supper: Maybe stroganoff (little noodles for me)...my Mom & her hubby are coming over so trying to come up with a yummy plan still.

Snacks: some summer sausage with cheese on crackers or a few cheez its, crystal light

 

Late start for school today due to 11 inches of snow yesterday. So I need to get my 7 yr old moving soon. My 4 yr old goes to morning preschool so his was cancelled. Later, I have to take my 1 yr old to a well baby check. Other than that, a little bit of cleaning to get the house ready for our suppertime company. Its super cold today and the roads are terrible so a good one to stay inside as much as I can!

Good morning :) My word for today is ACCOUNTABILITY I am going to say it to myself all day long! When that tray of crap appears in the break room, and everyone looks like they are having the best time ever eating and talking, I am going to remember I am accountable for what I eat, not them. And I have my light hot coco mix with me if the chocolate, cookies, and candy craving start to cripple my defenses.

B: Thomas 100 cal english muffin with 1/4 cup egg beaters, green onion, and 2 slices turkey bacon

S: Apple and a cheese stick

L: Salad w/ cottage cheese, and light italian dressing

S: Peanut butter dip and carrot sticks (2 T FF/Light sour cream, 2 packets splenda, 1 tsp peanut butter mix it up and yum :)

D: Potato Nachos: 1 med potato sliced thin spray with PAM baked in oven until crisp. top with vegetarian chili, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeno. Really easy dinner and it's pretty tasty too :)

Good morning!!!

I woke up today to NO POWER! So inconvenient. I have no idea how long it was out, though it had to have still been on around 5am because my fiance's alarm got him up for work!

Anywho, didn't want to open the fridge and let out the cold air, so my breakfast was a banana with some all natural peanut butter.

Other things I plan to have today?

1. Protein Shake - I'm thinking an Unjury chocolate splendor shake

2. Greek yogurt with Splenda

3. Spaghetti squash with some sauce

Not really sure what else!

What am I doing today?

1. Picking up fiance's suit from drycleaners

2. Final dress fitting for wedding (12/21/2012!!!)

3. Buying a new outfit for my first day back in office at work tomorrow. (I've been working at home for a month)... I know I shouldn't be buying new clothes since sizes are dropping, but Fashion Bug is closing and things are 80% off... so why not?!?
