Frustration is setting in
I have been at the same weight now (177-182) for about eight weeks. This is just too frustrating. Although I am proud that I have lost 100+ lbs, this is my first real stall. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to kick start my weight loss. I know I am not at my lowest, as I still have about 35lbs left to lose. I think my biggest thing is not doing exercise regularly and am having a very hard time getting back into the swing of things. I am very busy with work and school and already have time away from the family and feel that going to the gym only takes more time away from my family. I plan on training for my next 5K, which is next month. I have done a 5K for the last three months and am down to 42minutes, 42 seconds from 62minutes, 35 seconds, which is what I started with. Any encouragement or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for everything you all do.
I think you have your answer. Make time for exercise!
And just in case you are saying to yourself "oh it's easy for YOU to say that!" Consider this:
Me = single mom, full-time worker, on church council, two boards of directors, co-Girl Scout Troop leader and I run a highly active food blog for which I must regularly cook/take photographs of cooking/promote blog posts/run contests/publish a book/sell products.
This all means I have to wake up at 5 a.m. to work out most days. But I'm worth that effort.
And you are too. So find the time!

Just do it. I'm a single mom raising my 8 and 10 year old all by myself. I wake up at 4:30 to get things done. I spend quality time with my kids and make time for myself, too. It can be done. If you really want to get to goal and more importantly stay there, you need to exercise (a few people here have managed to get to goal without exercising, but they are the exception and not the rule).

Yep-we all have the same answer, the one you already know. Either be happy with where you are (which is where you'll likely stay with current physical activity level) or up the exercise.
We are all busy. You have to make the time. Period. I do it every day. Granted, I'm no longer raising little ones, but I do have a full time job and am very busy socially as well as at church. It is just part of my day. I deserve it, and so do you.
Keep your eye on the prize and realize you are so worth that hour each day.
"YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS" I have to tell myself this every morning to make sure I get it ALL in in one day. You can do hard things too...you just have to do it.
