I am just a few pounds away from goal. I weighed in this morning at 129 pounds. I am 5' 5 1/2" tall and have now lost 106 pounds in less than 9 months. I have done extremely well with the surgery and I am so happy that I had a second chance at life.

I have been having trouble finding pants that fit. I've tried all kinds, retail and thrift stores. Well, I decided to go to the little girl's section of the store and I tried on a pair of little girls size 16...and...well....they fit....REALLY WELL! A second bonus is that the length was perfect and they are 1/3 the price of ladies pants. WOO HOO!!! I am such a happy girl. I never thought I would be back in little girl clothes again but this is such a NSV. Happy Day Everyone!!!

Most childrens clothes are not made to last....have you tried petites?  I fit really well in petites after I hit goal.  And remember, you often have to have good clothes tailored to fit.

I bought some children's clothes at a thrift store and I found that size 14 in children's was pretty much the same as size 0 in juniors.  The problem I had is that the styles in jeans are pretty young with things like rhinestones and stuff.  I can't wear children's clothes in tops, only pants and I haven't seen any that would look good on anyone past 14 so I stick with the juniors sizes.
