Living alone after surgery

I agree with what the others have said. Don't put it off. You will be fine. Sorry about your Grandmother.

I was alone after mine, but my mom stopped in every night to see if I needed anything, and to help me shower & get dressed. I had a LOT of pain after surgery, but still did fine with the once a day help. I did have to have everything propped up a little higher so I didn't have to bend over to get things (like dog food, dishes, stuff like that), but I did okay. You should be fine without 24/7 care...you'll mostly sleep a lot anyway. Good luck!
