For the women who have had C-section births.

Hello ladies,

I just have a question to the ladies who have had c-section births and the roux en y.

I was wondering how many ladies had an open procedure vs. laparoscopic procedure due to possible scar tissue?

Do all women with past c-section's need to have an open procedure?

I had 2 C-sections prior to my lap RNY. Surgeon didn't even ask me about how my kids were delivered. I did have to get gyencologist approval for surgery, so maybe he would have said something if he thought it was contraindicated.

I've had two c-sections, the last being August of 2011 and I had lap Rny, how long ago was our c-section, because they are now done bikini line cuts but I think my mom had one and the incision was higher up

My scar is on my bikini line--not that I'm wearing one any time soon. LOL

I had 2 C-Sections and Lap RNY. I did have some adhesions that required a little extra work during the surgery. I experienced some pain on the lower left side as a result, but it only lasted for a week and I have had no other complications.
