Breakfast: Protein shake (tried a bite of scrambled eggs. nope. just do not enjoy food in the morning.)

Lunch: turkey cheddar brat cut up with some baked beans

Supper: baked chicken drumstick (no skin), veggie

Snacks as needed: apple slices with Greek yogurt, cashews, cheese stick, maybe a cookie

My son has a make up day for swimming lessons today so we will be heading to the Y after church. Don't ever go on Sundays so this will be an extra workout for me. Yeah! He has a "milestone" at church this morning too so we have to go. With our extreme cold and wind, I'd rather snuggle up at home and have a jammie day!

Since today's our group long run (did 12.19 miles at 11 min/mile pace!), eating is off the charts!:

breakfast: coffee, tea, protein shake

snacks/drinks during run or postrun: G2, energy beans, banana

lunch: pulled pork, breakfast bake (egg whites, cheese, ham, broccoli), power crunch choklat bar

snack: mini baby bel mozzarella, skinny cow chocolate wafer bar, NSA diced peaches, more pulled pork

dinner: chicken thigh w/ broccoli

..... and hoping to God, nothing else! I'm always famished after runs and can easily do close to 2000 cals - a feat I never thought I'd be impressed with!

I am sooooo glad to be home and start getting back to normal in my eating. My mercy... I made a total pig of myself eating on my trip.  The drive to Texas took about 12 hours because I stopped and fiddled around so much.  I ate horrible on the way - packed apples, cheese sticks, protein bars and turkey / cheese. ATE - cark chocolate covered espresso bits, milk chocolate covered espresso beans, etc etc.  While there ate biscuits and gravy (what my niece cooked) and orange cream covered almonds.  ON the way home was even worse - chocolate covered almonds, chocolate malt balls, "beaver nuggets" (kind of a caramel corn puff)... the best intake was leftover sirloin and Taco Bell tacos.  It took me another 12 hours because my guts had a hissy fit when enough was finally enough even for my pouch of steel.

Today -

B - mint cookie protein

L - egg stirs, turkey bacon on ww bread

S - chili;   click

D - turkey burger patty w / cheese and onions

S - turkey / cheese rollup ; mint cookie protein; maybe a click

working 12hrs, hope to get a run in when I get home
