Usually cream of wheat for breakfast, soup with pureed chicken for lunch and dinner don't know what else to have. Tired of sop already too lol.

Someone else posted this not too far back.

My favorite thing was tomato sauce, add some ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, mozzarella, parmesan, bake it ,  taste like lasagna w/o the noodles

I also really liked refried beans, add some cheddar cheese and some enchilada sauce.

egg salad/chicken salad/tuna salad

liverwurst with Harvarti cheese and mustard

Canned stew, yummy !!!   I ate the meat very very soft.

SF maple oatmeal   ( added protein powder )

I also ate a lot of Greek yogurt.  Check out this webpage.  http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2007/08/pureed-foods.html

I am on pureed foods....I have had refried beans with sour cream. 98% fat free turkey chili no beans. Unsweetened applesauce.2% cottage cheese. Tuna with fat free mayo. Yogurt. I am also allowed egg beaters.

When I was in that stage I ate a lot of refried bean "tacos" beans, cheese, sour cream, taxi sauce. I did the cream of wheat too, but I love that stuff. Try adding different flavors to it. Couple drops of extract adds a whole new world of flavors. Tuna salad with mayo, and reli**** gets old but you can do it! Try those laughing cow cheese wedges with the tuna......

The time goes fast and I have sort of forgotten.

I do remember cream of asparagus soup as a base and added cheese, poached chicken, or ham with herbs and a little garlic for flavor. ..pureed, of course.

SF jello mixed with low fat cream cheese and cottage cheese and you can add protein powder to the cottage cheese before mixing it all together.

Ham salad/egg/low fat mayo.consommé,

Just remember that your stomach is healing and it is too early out to push your luck.  Try to not think about being tired of something.

The book from my surgeon had a recipe for a half of a grilled cheese sandwich (made with imitation butter spray) blended with a little milk.  Sounded interesting, but I wasn't brave enough to try it.  I did a lot of chili blended.  Sometimes I would also do half chili over ricotta and that was good too.

Good suggestions.  Also baby food, some of it is good, but look at the sugar content.  I also use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, you get more protein in that way.
