Most stores don't carry chewable calcium citrate.  If you want a chewable, you'll probably need to order it online.  But yes, you can crush the calcium citrate tablets, or you can dissolve them in liquid and drink it.  I don't know how it will taste.  But it will work fine.

You can chew regular ones.  They are kinda chalky.  I have done it then drank something real fast.  I ordered chewables online for the first 3 months.  There are several places:  Bariatric Advantage,  Celebrate,  Vitalady comes to mind. I'm sure there is more.

The vitamin shop has chewable calcium citrate where I live. Tastes like fake oranges and i hated it but if you need something local then maybe you could check there. The regular ones will dissolve best if you put them in warm liquid but will still be gritty. I nowuse upcal d which has no taste and is a powder that you just mix with whatever liquid you want. I love that stuff!

Walmart carries a  liquid calcium citrate with vitamin D.  It is not bad and cost around $6.

Just keep in mind that Wellesse is calcium citrate AND tricalcium phosphate, and we can't absorb the tricalcium phosphate.  Make sure you adjust the dose accordingly

I also use UpCal....and you need three pouches daily mixed in whatever drink you want....BUT please do not be deceived into thinking that it is undetectable, because it is not. It is still kind of chalky and gritty, but tolerable (I guess). Anyway- good luck!
