Your favorite whey protein?

I have tried and tried to find a pumpkin shake that I like and have a hard time with it. I'll have to try this recipe next time!

Isopure unflavored is what I usually get and then I just add flavor from there. I generally can't tolerate the sweetness of the flavored protein powders so I avoid them. Altho I do like the Matrix Mint Cookie.

At over 5 years out, I do not bother trying anything new unless I can get a sample because I drink shakes so rarely.  I do, however, periodically have the Unjury Chicken Soup and every weekday morning I add either Unjury Chocolate Splendor (NOT the original chocolate... Yuck) or Syntrax Vanilla Bean Torte in SF Hot Chocolate mix.  I never found any that i really loved and was too lazy to doctor them up only to find that I still didn't like them.  Hell, I still have some 2 year old samples I have not used up!

I also still drink the Cytomax Pure Protein Tangerine protein water and occasionally have an Oh Yeah brand banana or chocolate RTD for on-the-go.

For on-the-go ready to drink its Premier Protein Chocolate all the way. Otherwise I stick with my Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie mixed with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Delish!

Vitamin shoppe has an iced tea and other types like that brand that's recommended by my bariatric team at Gwu  in D.C.

Nectar brand I believe

I love Unjury still. I often blend a half scoop of Chocolate Splendor, and a half scoop of Vanilla with a cup of skim milk. I  prefer my shakes, and smoothies mechanically blended rather than stirred with a spoon, or mixed in a shaker cup. I might be open to new flavors, but I don't have time to explore right now, so I'm of the mindset, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" however, I might be open to trying a non- dairy fruity flavor if it were made with a good Stevia (not like the drinks with Truvia type Stevia on the market now, Ugh...the aftertaste!

 My favorite recipe is a thick Strawberry Smoothie:

 1 scoop Unjury Vanilla Powder

 1 cup skim milk

1/2 c frozen strawberries

8 drops NuNatural brand liquid Stevia

Blend until smooth

Note: I add a cap of Miralax when constipation is an issue
