Going home!!!!!

Yay. Doc just came in and said they'll get me squared away to go home. He said that normally the stoma site is supposed to be 12-15cm - mine was only just struggling to hit 2! No wonder I was so sick. He got me to 10 yesterday and I have to have another stretching next week to get me the rest of the way to be sure I can tolerate more solid foods. That will be outpatient. Clear liquids have been going down great and I feel like a new person today.

I am happy to hear they found the problem and have you all fixed up.  I sure hope I am one of the one's with no problems as the hospital my surgeon uses is 3 hours from my home.
