Time off....

My work allows 12 weeks off for FMLA time. I only took 2, but ever since I came back I have been having a hard time, my job is very labor intensive, and I just can't seem to get on track and get to feeling the way I did when I was at hone. Thinking about asking surgeon to see if I can be put back on FMLA time from work for my remainder if my 10 weeks. Any thoughts

I planned on returning to work after 3 days (I'm a professor).  My Dr. actually told me I would be fine after 3 days to return to work.  Well I went back after 10 days, worked two days, went back into the hospital for a stricture, went back to work again 5 days later, lasted one hour, and then went back into the hospital for a stricture and then took 6 weeks off.  As long as the Dr. ok's your FMLA you will be fine.  

I would call surgeon and request the time off.  The surgery is tough on your body.  Take it easy if you can.

Take the time!! I took off three weeks but my part time job needed someone tonight. I went in and I regret it big time!!  If ya got it, use it!!  I'm glad I've got 4 more days off to rest, I need it!!

I tok two weeks and needed another week.  At 12 weeks out, my energy is just returning.  I have a demanding day and taking a break midday helps a lot.  Good luck to you!
