It was the best sleep I ever got :). Throat hurt a little the next day.

I have these often because of an esophagus issue. They are a breeze and a great sleep, you shouldn't remember a thing.

I've probably had a dozen EGDs due to other GI issues. They are a piece of cake. You will not remember anything. Your throat may be somewhat sore the next day, but that's it.

I was asleep for both of mine.....No big deal. Went in & they talked too me and then nothing and I woke up and went home shortly thereafter. Took someone with me to drive because of the medication....Although, it wasn't necessary

First one was terrible. Twilight anesthesia didnt work on me at all so I was awake for it all. They kept yelling at me and holding me down because I fought. And was very sore because of it! Second one (follow up) was super easy with general anesthesia. Slept through it all!!

I had mine last Thursday (Feb 14th)- I had been freaking out- reading anything and everything I could...

Long story short- they completely knocked me out-  It took 10/15 minutes... not a big deal :)

I was seriously scared to death over nothing! You'll do great :)

Thanks everyone. My original referral dr asked me some questions and said no need to do it. My surgeon looking at my paperwork for our final appt before surgery said you didn't have it done yet?ni said no he asked me questions and said I didn't need it. He said well I need it I am not going to do surgery and be surprised by something I will just do it myself! I said are you trained to do. This LMAO he said I am a surgeon I can do it here in my office if I had to. Due to my BMI they are doing it at the hospital.
