Rude lady!
Besides that maybe after she sees how great you are doing she will consider having the surgery too, you could actually be the one person who basically saves her life. Keep up the excellent work!!
Aaaargh. Something similar happened to me at my one year post op appointment. My surgeon's office got a new medical assistant who obviously didn't read my chart. She assumed I was a preop, waiting for the band. I was under 200 at that point. I gave her a sharp set down. I don't know if I was more insulted she thought I was still really fat or that she thought I was having the band.
To the OP, she's a jackass. Ignore.
I fight badgers with spoons.

Yeah, she's a jackass. Either she's stupid and can't tell you lost 125 pounds, or she's a ***** and wanted to be rude. Either way, you had the surgery to fix your downfall, but I still haven't heard of a surgery to fix stupid.

People have this idea that when we have wls we will magically be skinny...tons of us think this too. Not so but battling the misconceptions can be a tad hurtful...I just look at myself and go no way would I be 140 pounds less and holding any other way and even though im still fat that doesnt mean im not a success.
rudeness must be in the air this week. When I was at work on Sunday a customer approached me and asked "when are you due?" I was like wtf are you serious? I've lost 120 pounds weigh 124 and you think I'm pregnant???? totally took the wind out of my sails I was feeling so good after my weigh in that morning. to heck with all the rude people. Let's not give them the power to affect us!
