I've been having times where I get really dizzy like I'm going to pass out! It always happens when I stand up but sometimes just out of the blue I'm feeling sick at my stomach and really dizzy. Can't be blood sugar, checked it. Can't be sugar, checked it too. What in the world could it be?!

If it happens most when you change positions, it sounds like a drop in your blood pressure. Are you on any BP meds? If you dont have any restrictions for salt intake i would increase it and drink more fluids.

Sounds like low blood pressure.  Sometimes when you stand up, your blood pressure can drop suddenly.  It's called orthostatic hypotension.

Yeah but we checked my blood pressure and it was nearly perfect. I am on blood pressure meds. He cut them in half, but that was while I was still feeling like this.

It could be blood pressure related even though your BP is normal. Check your pulse when it occurs. I get it to and my BP is fairly normal and when I stand my pulse spikes. Check your BP when you are sitting and standing to see what he difference is.

Mine actually turned out to be a number of issues that are more neurological then cardiac.

I started getting light headed about a month after surgery. My blood pressure wasn't extremely low, but my dr changed my meds. It took about a week for the dizziness to completely go away.

I have had the same dizzy spells, I was also freezing allll the time and had headaches. my Dr found out I wasnot  absorbing iron. I needed blood transfusions to up my blood supply, and currently I get iron infusions. It cant hurt to ask your Dr about it. Good luck to you
