Ok so Nik is at spin class but posted a pic of a ramkin w steak I believe. She said when she gets back she will post the recipe. I looked up steakumms thinking that would be easy....it has a great amount of protein but 9 grams of fat. I am curious does anyone eat them or do you just make a real steak and shave off piecea or cut off small pieces? The one Nik made looks delish I cant wait to hear all about it.

Not a clue on that - but I did make a cheesesteak scramble the other day and used deli roast beef in it.

fat from meats does not bother me in fact days that I have a little more are typically the days I see a loss. I don't track them per say but using myfitnesspal it's a trend I've noticed

I agree with Lori... Have done a cheesesteak scramble with and without the egg! Real good but eat it slow. Stea**** will also work I'm sure.

We have a local butcher that sells a shaved steak (raw) (not sure on the cut prior to shaving, but may be sirloin( that makes beautiful steak sandwiches, etc.
I haven't had any since RNY, but I think I'll get some. The family can have sandwiches and I'll have the steak with veggies and cheese!
You may be able to ask at a butcher or meat counter to cut a roast very thin.
This is probably a bit leaner than stea**** And the fresh shaved beef has an incredible flavor and natural moistness.
