OT: Gus is 3 months old!
He is now up to 23.5 pounds! His nose is lightening up (rats.I knew the odds were heavily against it remaining black, though), but he has a wonderful, thick coat.. His bark continues to deepen, so I am pleased that he is going to have that intimidating "big boy" bark that I wanted. So here are some of his 12-week pics:
Note the lightening nose...

No. About 75% of cream Chows end up with wither "charcoal" or pinkish colored noses rather than black ones. This happens with some other dogs, too, such as yellow labs (Kelly's dog, Isaac has a light nose). I just like the black noses so much better. I figure that anyone who can get used to a black tongue can get used to a light nose!

So CUTE! Looks pretty intimidating in that second picture. Sadie turned a year on Valentines and her baby mange has finally all cleared up and her fur is all grown back. Aren't puppies the best!

Yeah, because their eyes are so deep-set, when they look at you out of the corner of their eye, they sometimes look like they are giving you the "evil eye"... but I got a face full of kisses right after I took the picture!
