1 year ago today we lost our daughter. she was still born at 39 weeks and 5 days. I am just having a bad day today. my husband is at work and are 2 kids are at school. just too much quiet time I guess. gives me too much time to think about what could have been. since she died I have put on around 50 pounds. that's 1 of the reasons I have decided to have gastric bypass. I'm trying to get healthy for the kids I do have. just needed to vent a little bit.

There is absolutely nothing that can be said that will make you feel better.  I am sending positive energy your way.  I can not imagine how hard it must be.

I am so sorry to hear this.  My best friend's daughter was born sleeping three years ago.  Before this, I had never realized how devastating this is to the entire family.  Emily was her first daughter and we all light candles for her on her special days.  I hope you are in touch with all of the groups that can help you.  I know she also belongs to one where they give you a bear the exact birthweight of your baby.  If you need any help, I can  put you in touch with her.  She now has Sarah, *****cently turned one.  But Emily, was still the first granddaughter, even though none of us got to know her.

You say you have put on 50 pounds.  Is that your total extra weight?  Most insurance companies want a BMI of 35-40.

Take care and know that you are not alone in this.

Hugs today. It really never gets easier. I lost my angel baby in the sixteenth week and couldn't imagine going full term.
