Happy Monday!!!! If I use enough exclamation points, perhaps I will convince myself. LOL. On today's agenda, YMCA and grocery shopping. And the kiddos, of course. Preschool dropoff/pickup, etc.

Breakfast: Girl scout cookie (early morning wake-up bad decision). Now going to have my protein shake.

Lunch: Most likely leftover pork loin pieces with bbq sauce from our lunch out yesterday

Supper: Thinking about making tatortot hotdish. I eat mostly just the filling. We'll see what my mood is when its time to start preparing...

Snacks: Greek yogurt with fruit, cheesestick, maybe some cashews

Yesterday, I did good all day and then blew it after supper. Ugh. Today's goal is NOT TO DO THAT! That is my weak time and I wish I could just go to bed but that doesn't work out with three little kiddos. So I need to figure out a way to deal with it.

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

LOL. I checked to see where you were from - hotdish, especially tatortot hotdish, is such a Minnesota thing! :)

Cooked ground beef, mixed frozen veggies and cream of mushroom soup all mixed together (I go heavier on the meat than I used to so its more satisfying to me and higher in protein - could use ground turkey or a mix of the two, of course). Layer in bottom of 9x13. Top with a layer of tatortots. Salt and pepper. Bake for about 30-45 minutes until the tatortots are cooked through. Some people top with cheese and put it back in until the cheese is melted but I don't feel it needs it and I certainly don't need the added calories.

My "eats" consist of clear liquids today for surgery tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to being able to be creative with my meals and eat food in a few weeks.  aaagh!

How exciting!!  Good luck and be sure to do your deep breathing excercises with the incentive spirometer so that you don't wind up BACK in the hospital like me!

So I started the thread and then didn't eat anything I said I was going to. Here's my update post: :)

Breakfast: Cookie and protein shake (had already had that when originally posted)

YMCA - 45 minute cardio class followed by 30 minute strength training class!

Lunch: Ended up going out to eat with a friend and our little kiddos. Grilled chicken salad. 1/2 breakstick.

Snack: Some cheese and one cracker

Supper: Making pork ribs, mashed potatoes (will have a tiny scoop), and peas.

Snack: Still planning greek yogurt with fruit. Have enough calories left to have it twice if needed to avoid any bad choices tonight.
