bowel movements/gas sorry to ask :(
No question is TMI for this board! If you're still on liquids or pureeds, you'll probably have somewhat loose stools until you're moved on to solids. Liquids in = liquid out, solids in = ![]()
GasX will be your friend! Get the strips or chewables. If smell is bothersome, either charcoal tablets or Devrom can help - - internal deodorants make you & your poo/gas less smelly.

Then I might be agreeing with a following poster (rocky) that lactose intolerance might be the culprit. Of course, talk to your surgeon, but try switching over to lactose-free milks or taking lactose enzyme tablets to see if they help reduce the frequency/gas. Good luck!

It seems from posts I've read people go one way or the other. very loose or very constipated until they get it figured out.
I unfortunately have to deal with severe constipation, had it before the surgery and it's only gotten worse. I have to have MoM two days in a row none the third day and repeat in order to go at all. I've tried fiber, miralax, upping fat etc nothing else works for me, I'm resigned to the fact I will be laxative dependent.
It may be what you are eating or it just might be your body reacting. If you have concern ask your doctor!

Sounds like you might be lactose intolerant. Try removing milk from your diet. I am lactose intolerant, but I can eat yogurt and cheese. They process them with enzymes that eat away the lactose. Make sure your protein powder is 99% lactose free. If your protein powder contains whey concentrate in it ...it has lactose in it. Get a whey isolate protein and mix it with water, soy milk, or almond milk. I mix mine with my morning coffee.
