Advise on Foamies

I get the foamies after I eat anything.  It's gotten to the point where I'll get them after drinking water/shakes or anything I put in my mouth.  I just attempted to eat some refried beans thinned down with broth and before I at half (total amount was 1/4 cup) it felt stuck, and I felt like gagging.  Shortly after that I was "foaming."

I am 21 days post op and on pureed diet.  I've taken to eating very slowly and only 1/4-1/2 tsp at a time.   I see my surgeon on Wednesday--but am curious if anyone has a similar experience.

That sounds like you may have a stricture going on. You night wanna call your surgeons office and let them know that's going on. I would get the foamies from eating fast and not chewing, but if its already really soft and is still causing you problems it may be something else. Or it may be that you had to much. 1/4 cup is all I could do at first too, but sometimes even a 1/4 cup was to much for my pouch.
