First NSV
I am 22 days out and down 15 lbs from surgery. I think that's great but then I hear others that have lost more and I get...antsy...
Every time I step on the scale I keep expecting to see the numbers to go up...they're not so I'll continued to be pleased with them.
So onto my first NSV (non-scale victory): I married the most amazing man on 10/1/2011--not that long ago. Before the wedding I lost about 15 (took me down to 250) and my ring was loose; therefore when I had the bands saudered together I also had them down size the ring. By that Christmas I had "grown out of" my wedding set. During the pre-op diet, I lost enough to squeeze it onto my hand, and then took it off for surgery. My husband put it away from me and then never told me where (and I kept forgetting to ask). Well he put it back on my hand yesterday and OMG HE was able to put it on my hand (not the squeeze your finger through it, like I used to) My ring fits, like really fits...it didn't do that even when I had it sized. Whoo Hoo!!
