Dumb question probably.
To me if feels like I need to poop but can't. It feels pretty much the same as it did before surgery.
I take Miralax daily to prevent it.

Yep, constipation feels the same post-op as it did pre-op. That portion of your anatomy was not altered in any way. I avoid the problem by mixing some Benefiber into my morning beverage (it is truly undetectable, even in plain water) most days.

I felt like you did - and yes, I was constipated. It felt different than it did pre op because there was not a LOT of poop in there, it just wasn't moving.

Try to up the liquids.
